This week we discuss the start of a Russian invasion of Ukraine and the analogies some deploy to understand it. And, I speak with Professor Sylwia J. Piatkowska of Florida State University about her recent paper titled “Brexit, Terrorist Attacks, and Hate Crime: A Longitudinal Analysis.” The paper is to be published in Social Problems, and is co-authored by Brian J. Stults.
