This week we discuss some insights from World War II and the nuclear stand-off in its aftermath. And, I speak with Professor Daniel Karell of Yale University about his recent paper titled “Small town propaganda: The content and emotions of politicized digital local news in the United States.” The paper is to be published in Poetics, and is co-authored by Anjali Agrawal.
